The pleiades!
WOW!
I could use this for a logo I'm making.
Is it 3D, or are all the glows on a plane?
Source please!

Cu!

It looks really good - can't wait to see it finished!

Glows are great -
Media needs tweaking to get good results,
Radiosity needs tweaking to get good results,
Photons need tweaking to get good results,
But glows always work perfectly!

They are all on the same xy plane. I don't know where one could find
accurate info on how I might represent them on the z axis. I am planning on
adding background stars ( randomly generated ) and probably an isosurface
landscape in the foreground. I suppose as an alternative, I could put a
convoy of space freighters or something along those lines.

I don't think there *is* any accurate info available anywhere.
But use your imagination! :-)

I like it...
It looks like the lights are producing gas or that they are hot and
under water... Giving off released o^2 while they boil the water...?
