This time i used less harsh pp focal blur. radiosity is used too.

I'm not sure, whether you should try to get it more realistic or not, colors
look quite funny as they are right now.
Maybe you should work on the water, have a look at
http://www.schunter.etc.tu-bs.de/~chris/waterf.html for that.
For the top of the island, there seems to be something missing, how about
placing some small house with windows right on the top of the cylinder?

Make a beach with a sign that says, "No Sharks Allowed." Many people will
swim there because they will think that it's safe; but Oh-ho! Sharks can't
read and they will eat the people!!! Hahaha!
