Here's one of my current projects, AL the Alien, a fully IK animatable
character - of course made entirely in POV-Ray (as always).

A lot of work has been done, and a lot of work still needs to be done, but
at least now he's somewhat presentable.

Greetings,

Rune

Wow, he's got personality already (and it's just a still image!).

Cool!

It reminds me of that A:M-alien singing "I will sur-*crash*" :-)

Thanks! It's all in the pose really. When not posed he doesn't have much
personality...

Ahem - well I must admit that I was quite inspired by that one.
I hope though that my alien will eventually develop its own personality, and
not just make people think of that other one...

The first image was poorly lit. Here's a better one.

The hands are made of several blobs. The arms and legs are at this point
only spheres and cylinders, but later I'm going to change that. The head is
pure CSG (no blobs), but I might change that. The body is a long string of
super-ellipsoids, because I needed it to be completely bendable, but I might
change it to use a mesh instead (generated internally in POV-Ray, not
imported!).

Greetings,

Not exactly a coincidence... :-)
