I have noticed over the years that the images I have received the most
praise for have been scenes that involve rooms in some way or another,
restaurants, bedrooms, living rooms etc... This has brought me to the
idea of modeling my entire house down to an insane detail level and to
create a Quicktime VR walkthrough of it, or something like that. The
idea would be to have every scrap of junk, every stain, all the messy
tables modeled. You could move a camera about ANYWHERE in the house and
render a realistic scene of my real house. Please let me know if you
think I am suffering from an overdose of POV radiation, or is this a
cool idea like I think it is?
PS: I may have overstated how untidy my house is :-), not my computer
table though, you could never under overstate how messy that is.

Yes, it is a really cool idea. And yes, you are insane.

Can you still find the computer? Or do you have to start from the wall
outlet and follow the power cord?
[follow-ups set to p.o-t.]

The scene I'm currently working on contains one object
whick is on my computer desk, I've been working on it
since 29 May this year, and I don't work or go to
college. So you may have to live a very long life,
and of course you'll need a much much faster computer.
Good luck.

You are completely mad.
Get PVM-POV and a quad-Xeon system if you haven't already or you'll never
get it rendered.
