I thought it might have been a "real" 3D ray trace at first. Then I noticed
the cigarette butt and plastic bag clip along the edge of the wall. Not
that those might not have been in a very good ray trace.
Goes to show just how heterogeneous rust can be.

Looks real enough. My first car was a 1960 Chevy Impala and had rust
behind the rear fenderwells that was worse than your example (looked
similar, just more extreme).

For a photo it looks kind of fake, but if it were a raytracing it would look
very realistic.
