Realism? This is not a "real" object to begin with, it
is designed by Michael and as such can look any they
want. 

Personally, I think that They are good shapes for lamps,
like the type that you might hang from above or mount to
a wall.

In fact, I had them (the spheres) smaller at first, and I did not like
it that much.
