Hi there,
this is my first image post and it is not ready jet. But i think it is
worth to show it. Unfortunately, im not familiar with media and texture
(there is need of some rusty texture and water and, and, and...)
i hope, you like it.
comments are wellcome ;-)

Very nice model.
(By the way, you should change the title to "20000 *leagues* under the
sea", as it stands, you're 12000 miles in outerspace on the other side
of the Earth! Which could explain the black background!)

thanks, that you like it.
the title, hmm, probably you're right. It should definitivey a submarine and
not a spaceship.
maby i should use the origin title "Vingt mille lieues sous les mers" ;-)

Yes it should be "20,000 leagues under the sea" but that is the distance
travelled while under the sea, not the depth. According to my
dictionary a league is commonly equal to 3 miles.

what did you use to model this? good luck with textures. i think
textures are the hardest part of pov. the learning curve for textures
is steeper than the modelling curve.

Maybe, but all i have done with rhino was the side and font window with
the connection to the main body (ok, and the little boat at the back). I
tried a lot to do this with spatch. But it didn't work. Do you have an
idea to do this with spatch??
