I've created a simple scene to place the torch into. I mad ehte torch a
macro for easy placement.
I dont think it's very scaleable.
Anyway, here it is.

This is looking good, but a much quieter background
would show the torches off better.

Media does depend on the length of the line of view passing through it, 
so if you scale the torches smaller, your media will get thinner and 
fainter. The usual solution is to increase the density of the media with 
the inverse of the scaling, like "emission color EmCol/ScaleAmt".
