Hi,
I remember someone did a Povray desktop a long while ago (almost a year)
for windows 98. i think it's Peter Popov. I'd like to see this desktop
since i finally have my own computer and windows 98, to put it on.

If anyone else has povray desktops, please let me know!
Thanks,
Noam

Thanks again, but just for your information - the link to the text file
is broken. Don't worry, the zip is still there. I'm getting it.

Thanks for the info. The file is there but the link I gave you is
probably wrong (the server may be case sensitive but I doubt it).
Doesn't really matter much because the site is a wreck and is
officially down. Anyway, here're the contents of the text file.

POV-Ray Desktop for Windows 98
by Peter Popov aka POV-Nut (pet### [at] tagpovrayorg)

This desktop is designed for Windows 98. I actually made it
for my home PC so it might not work as good for you as it does
for me. You may not like the color scheme, I made it so that
it does not hurt my eyes during those night chats :) In order
to use it properly, the following settings should be applied:

* Resolution must be 1024x768, and at least 16-bit
* Both horizontal and vertical icon spacing must be 62 and the
'large icons' option must be disabled
* The caption buttons size must be 18

I really want to thank:

* Gilles Tran (tra### [at] inapginrafr) for the clouds
* Bob Hughes (inv### [at] aolcom) for the clover
* Marc Schimmler (mar### [at] icauni-stuttgartde) for the nut
* Toni Bratincevic (http://members.xoom.com/Intercepto) for Tux
* Manfred Agne (Man### [at] munichnetsurfde) for plugs.inc,
monitor.inc and speakers.inc from the POV object collection
* POV-Ray for the glass sphere on a checkered floor :)

Comments, criticisms etc. are welcome.

Use this file in whatever way you see fit. If you post it
or otherwise distribute it please provide my name and e-mail.
Thank you.
