I upgraded my Netscape navigator and now when I go to these newsgroups,
I have to do an extra click on a "URL" of the image file name to see it.
I can no longer "automatically" see the image, nor see image and text at
the same time.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is there need for fix? I haven't upgraded recently (Netscape
4.6.something here) but this happens to me as well (although with some
posts only). I guess that this depends from attachment type, but haven't
bothered to search, what causes it.

Even my "own" postings show up differently now.

Perhaps associations are "off". Look, what
"Edit/Preferences->Navigator/Applications" shows for e.g. jpeg files? I
have Netscape (internal). Perhaps this is with some other plugin
associated?

look inte the view menu and see if view attachments inline is marked, if
not the mark it.
this is also useful if you have problems with NS not showing all images
when there are
several, just uncheck it, and let netscape reload, and then recheck it,
since NS caches
the images it should not be a problem for you ppl. on modem (I don't
swear by this...)
