I think area lights were used.  Look at the banding on the wall.

A shocking amount of time for such a computer, but I don't shock as easily
anymore.
She has got to like this.  Wonderfully done.  The little beads look like water
maybe, in which case they are sitting on a extremely waxy surface.  I don't
care much for faceted organic objects but this still looks neat.

there are area lights!, there just tight - i wanted shadows!

photons? err yeah when i figure them out and have another 10+ hours computer
time spare!

yes there glass - i was going to do either petals or water, but glass beads
seemed to look better.

i tried it without a highlight, and it didnt have the same effect, a touch
of highlight helped to show it up.
