Hi,
this is my first version of plasticant.
The pieces were done remembering the things from youth without having any
real pieces. The scale of the pieces can differ from the originals.
I will do some more pieces, like wheels, perhaps a motor.

Hehe, I remember!
The yellow of the connecting pieces is to shiny and bright - the plastic of
these is more 'elastic'.
If I remember it correct, the red plates were shaped somewhat different, but
I can't verify it right now, because my daughter is already sleeping :-)
If you need some measurements on the pieces, I can do them for you as ...

Yes, I remember that toy. But I couldn't remember the name because I was
too young (born 1970). I think It was made of rather soft plastic
(especially those yellow pieces).
I cant't hardly remember if there were other pieces too...

Fine that someone remembers plasticant.
The plates look different in reality so that they can be pushed easier into
the holes. But i do not remember that good enough.
Perhaps i can write a macro or external program to construct things easy ...

I remember wheels (color red) spinning on those blue tubes and tires that
can be put on these wheels. I had a e-motor, but it may be a piece not
original. Some of the blue pieces had little holes to hold metal-shafts.
By the way, i had done these pieces with a CAD-program yesterday (took about
2 hours). Today i did this with pure povray-coding and was much faster!
Sometimes POV is the better CAD-program ...

Erector sets are still made of metal (at least the ones made by Meccano).

I've found the box with my plasticant and there are (at least) two versions
of the red plates. Both have in common that the upper and lower part are
connected only by to thin plates (which tend to break :-)). One version has
two sides at the same size, the other one has one bigger side (which covers
approx. the half of the blue pieces).
Do you remember the yellow "plates" with a grid in them?

no, i do not remember that yellow pieces, but i can ask my brother if he
does. He is older and plasticant was his toy ...
I will do a fischer-technik-picture in the future, this was my toy ...
And i have a source for pieces to do some measuring ...
