Nice water! The splash looks odd though.. Dunno how you made them, but you
could try average pattern + cylindrical + waves. I remember trying that long
time ago and failed :(

Very nice, I like it a lot...

For your bezier patch problem, I suggest scaling everything
up. I've noticed that bezier patches tend to disappear if
they are too small but scaling the whole scene ups fixes the
problem...

something about the splashes???? - those oil slick thingies

I'd never bet that nobody will see it ;)
Yes I know that but I wanted to hold the scene quite simple ...

The splashes are some spheres {scale y*0.001} with the same texture as the
water-plane, plus a warp ... This was, what came 1st to my mind when
thinking about the splashes ...
Yes, I also thought about an Isosurface, but I didn'd took the time to think
about this ...
But I found the pic looks better with these (odd) splashes than without
anything on the watersurface ...

Someone a good/fast Idea how to do it better (I heard the term "average
pattern" but I never could imagine something about this ... can you give an
example, that fits here?)

I would wonder if this helps ... I can't imagine this will help ... I think
it's an export problem of Moray (maybe the preview is not the same as the
export)
But I'll try it out ...

Did I say that I'm not very satisfied (ohh ... my english, how do YOU spell
this?) with the clouds in the sky ... I want it to be just one layer, but I
think the current colormap needs some modification ...

Wow! This is a beautiful picture. I would like to make whales for a scene
but I don't even know where to start.
The water is really nice. Do you mind if I use your technique for the water?

Feel free to use a plane and give it a crackle+turb normalmap ...
I think this shouldn't be a secret ... (_I_ wouldn't call it a technique)

But I think a better way would be to use a squashed sphere for the water if
you want to see the far horizon ... so the horizon would'n be a straight
line (like by the plane)
