Hi,
I did this for my nine year old brother, who had a birthday today.
I tried doing photons but failed for some reason.
I uses radiosity and area lighting.

The jelly seems to have the same surface as the floor. But I guess your
brother doesn't mind that :)

Nope, it doesn't. When I showed it to him and said it was a jelly cake
all he said was "Yuck."

i don't know about jelly, but jello sounds pretty good to me. I'd take
the cake anyday :)

any reason you used cones instead of cylinders for the candles? maybe
yellow ones.

we used to put jelly on ice-cream. we used to put everything on
ice-cream though, especially when we had a babysitter. we'd put fruit
roll ups on ice cream, little trail mix packages, chocolate, things i
think might have been called gummy fruits, whip cream, *anything*. and
this was ussually all at once.

what was i talking about?

bye.
ross.
