Here are new versions of the logos I posted some time ago.
Rendered with POV but designed using others softwares.

I can't seem to find the old ones. I like these. I think it would work
better on solid black with white text. I also suggest you stick in an
orthographic in your camera when you render icon size. OK? BTW, what did you
design it in?

This is one of the logos I like the most. There's some symbolics in it.
The 'V' makes a checkmark, like it says "YES!"
The P/O makes the greek letter rho, and is often used in cojunction with
algebraic geometry analysis. (Did you think of that?)
Maybe the word POV RAY itself is a bit redundant, I don't know.
Simen.

"POV-Ray" is significant in that it is a trademark of the program where
"POV" by itself is not.

Quite stylish. Maybe the R is a bit hard to make out. I like the checkered
one the most :)

I wanted to give the lettering a chome texture. But Yes, I think that it would
be much better in pure white.
The tools used were Illustrator, Photoshop ( firm owned) and POV.

Well, frankly, no.
I just wanted to blend the three letters together into a kind of symbol. To
be honest, the result is not up to it. Another font might help.
