This is my first image made with MegaPOV. It's based on my "Save The
Robot" IRTC animation.
In contrast to the previous version I changed the media from emitting to
scattering (yes, method3!).
Now the effect is more what I intended originally but still too
overstressed. It needs some tweaking.

Any ideas how to improve this image with other MegaPOV features?

Karl

For those who are interested in the media definition:

#declare StaubigeLuft_1 =
   media  // StaubigeLuft_1
   {
      method 3
      intervals 1
      samples 10,25
      variance 1.0/1000.0
      confidence .9
      ratio 0.999
      scattering
      {
         //1 ,  rgbf <0.008, 0.008, 0.004, 1.0>
         3 ,  rgb <0.008, 0.008, 0.004>
         extinction 1
      }
      density
      {
         granite
         scale 15.0
      }
   }

media { StaubigeLuft_1 }

Amazing. I think in that round you and I were trying for the same exact
setting, but in retrospect mine was a simplistic and sloppy effort...

Impressive!

What do these barrels contain? If it is some kind of oil or fuel you
might spill some on the floor (just damp it, don't drown it) and use
blurred reflection and variable reflection on the spot. Just an idea.

Perhaps my next image will be an industrial thingy
(What about all that other junk I'm working on? Bah, it can wait)

Maybe oil or fuel, but you'll never know what you will find in such
abandoned halls... maybe some alien breed?

I'll think about it. I'm just beginning to learn the MegaPOV features...
