Put a silver orb up above the door.  It would give it that Big
Brotherish feeling.

I prefer this new doorway, but I happen to have a problem with it. This
looks like... this door could not really be opened. As if it were just a
fake door. Perhaps add a shadow around the door and something to open it
(buttons/camera...)

But, for the pipes, wow!
