Here is my first attempt at media and I thought I'd have a go at clouds. It
is to be the background in another scene. I know the ground isn't much but I
haven't worked on it yet. Thanks to Mr P. Popov for many hints and lots of
constructive criticism. It could probably do with a few more smaples and a
higher aa_level but my poor old P133 couldn't take that for a test render,
as it is it took about 13 hours. All comments and criticisms are more than
welcome. Rendered with Megapov 0.4.

Very nice. Looks like right after a bad storm when the sky is clearing
up. Post the code, maybe?

I like how the 'sun' is beaming through the clouds - very nice.

Oh great, Kev, so you got your shadows back, huh? :) Looking much
better now. Gee I wish I had your patience.

How about rendering it with a cylindrical camera and make a panoramic
view out of it?

Please post the code on this one.... it is simply amazing. I would like to see a
little more of the sky, tho. When I play with media like this I end up with no
clouds or absolute cloud cover, when what I really want is a happy medium. The
sun streaks are very impressive.

The light streaming through is excellent.
Judging from the size of the shadows, the camera must be really high off the
ground (or your proprtions are wrong :-) )

this is really *great*

it has some look of oil-painting, like those slighty strange and abstract
landscapes they used to create..

it could be pulled out from someone's dream..

Thankyou for your comments, hopefully I may one day finish the rest of the
scene. Source code is in p.t.s-f for any one who wants it.

Thanks, I'm going to render this with a checkered plane, as I get the
feeling that at the moment the camera is actually in the clouds.
