Really interesting image! It looks Matrixque to me somehow, maybe the
ordered infinity look of it all is responsible for that. Oh, and I
love to see cold and warm colors interract.

Are all these cubes really there or are you using some witty(1) trick
like mirrors?

(1) Pun intended :)

This is cool ... eehh hot! :-)
It sure has some alien look. It would be interesting to see it in a less
plain texture. Maybe some normals, etc.

No. Heat sinks for a 5 giga-hertz Pentium processor.

Shouldnt it be farther from the star in that case? But

Wow, that's one BIG heatsink. I want to have the CPU that will need it
(and compile POV for it!!!)

Seriously now, I think the metal doesn't look hot, just illuminated.
Maybe oxidize it a bit or maybe add something to show it's freezing
cold in the nearer part. Maybe some haze in the distance (then again,
maybe not, as this would indicate an atmosphere is present).

This image could benefit from the soft-glow in MegaPOV, what do you
think?

Well, since this is apparently either in orbit around or surrounding a
star, there wouldn't be any oxidation. :-)

It looks like a heat sink or high-voltage electrical equipment.

You would think that nanites would be a little more discriminating about
where they set up shop than inside the rear tail light of a 68 VW. Then
again since I ain't no nanite it's possible they think differently than
I do.

Well, I ain't no nanite neither, but I was very satisfied with my '68
