One of the best I have seen in a long long time!

If I could offer constructive criticism it would
be with regard to the repeat in the tile floor. I
find the solid line between each repeat makes
me think of an imitation tile floor (like it was
actually laid down as big sheets meant to look
like tiles).

Of course I can't do anything like this so maybe
I shouldn't talk.

Why not ? :)
I have posted it exactly to receive this kind of criticism... so thx.
When i work for a long time to a pic i loose "the sense of reality", that is
paying attention to the details so the "evident" errors are no more seen.. dunno
if i explain.

Jeeeez!! Where did you say you posted the code? I am green with envy :( Do
you share the code? will you allow me to try it out in my project that has
about 600 similar columns?

Increase the aa quality and this would be indistinguishable from a picture.
And that's not just a variation of the "please don't post pictures here"-gag; I
mean it!

Ehehehe... :PP
i have set it to 0.1 and radiosity recursion_limit 2, for a total of 12 hours of
rendering!!!!

But this jpg is really a low quality image (due to its reduced size) in confront to
the original TGA image.

Woah! Is it that slow?

Btw is that recursive aa? It is way better than am1.

Wow, how did you do the detail at the top of the columns?
Very realistic texturing, I think the radiosity recursion 2 probably helped it a
lot.
