Very nice rendering, not much to complain about, except perhaps that the
exhaust pipes don't look smooth enough. And, as others have pointed out,
please keep the filesize down. This pic took ages to download with my 56k
modem...

It really looks good, but
- it has definitely too much rust
- the front bend in the side pipes looks a bit chunky.

Nice work.
As everyone else pointed out:
- Image's too big. I hate donwloading black pixels for ten minutes!
- The welder who shaped those exhaust pipes did a crappy job.
Now a few comments of my own:
- The rust texture used for the frame looks more like rattlesnake skin
colors than rust.
- There are no "exhaust pipes" on a jet engine. Combustion by-products
are mixed with the main flow of air. Besides, if there were exhaust
pipes, they would be attached to the combustion chamber, which is in the
middle of the engine.
Unless your hoverbike owner wanted to paint it rattlesnake-skin-color
and added crappy exhaust pipes to the side of the engine to give it a
meaner look.

That thing looks like it probably doesn't work anymore.
Normally I would comment on the realistic moelling anf texturing, but instead
I'm going to chew you out for a nearly 1Meg download. Thanks. We appreciate
it. (Just kidding (hardly))
Now granted most newbies will post excessive images, but please, 1M?!? Let me
guess, you tried to post a 2M image first but hit the server max?
Try to keep the size under 200k. 'Specially if you're going to post another.

Could you please post a smaller picture next time -- I was able to compress
this one to a 7kb JPEG without significant loss of quality.

Nice work, it reminds me a bit of the cover of
Bat out of hell. Some real good modelling.
The first time I posted it was a massive file,
I think it's a common thing for people to want
to participate and post something before ever
reading the details in the announcements NG.
Please don't make the mistake of reposting a
smaller version of exactly the same thing, only
post another smaller version when you've made
some considerable progress with the image.

I think you're exaggerating just a bit :)) On my computer, it was quite
awful, each area looked as if I had set the zoom at *5 :)) But, true, I
think it should be compressed. Perhaps not as much as 7kb, but
definitely less than 1M :)

I think Darrel has been beat up enough on this subject and we should
just let it go.
