Nice. Blobs are certainly hot these days.
I like his attitude. It's like he's grown up in a 2 bar environment
and then crash landed in Death Valley and his main concern is how to
explain this to his parents.

That's strange-looking. Nice texturing. I pity the thing if the wind blows
some sand around there. Maybe he's got suitable eyelids though.

Maybe a pair of alien hands would solve this.

Great design, I really like him.

There are some nice things going on in this image. I really like the
skin texture, first of all. Second, how did you do those rocks that he
is right behind?

I thought about that, but I wanted to hold off making any until I finish the body
(if I do :).

Thanks, I saw it in a truck part I was drawing at work: all the sudden I saw an
alien head in what I was drawing.

That's cool! I hope you do finish him... but maybe I should be patient
for you to get more inspiration.

BTW really liked the colors/textures on him.

The rocks are an isosurface box, with granite used for surface
displacement.

The alien's cool, but that rock is fantastic.

It's good to see that blobs are getting such a
hammering at the moment, it means that the knowledge
of POV and what it can do is increasing and moving
forward.
