Hi

My first try at something other than just checking out the features of
Pov-Ray

Still needs a lot of work though.

What do you think? ( any critique is welcome....almost!! ; )

Very nice, but there seems to be some confusion as to scale. If the
sword is on a table, then the shadow of the door is wrong. If the sword is
on the floor, then the companion blade on the wall seems a little too small
or the distance to the wall is odd. Or something....

You're right about the sword on the wall.... although it's supposed to be
smaller (like all good thing, they come in two sizes .... ; ) It is WAY too
small.

Another thing I just noticed: the Daikatana and acompanying stuff isn't "on"
the floor..shame on me... : )

It's still a neat render, even if the blurring is extreme. Camera lens must
have a f32 setting on it :-) The blade looks fine to me and that's one of the
difficult things to make right I'm sure.

It is a good layout but I agree with the problem of scale...

The blade was done in sPatch... it really is one of the best modellers I've tried in
a long time..

By the way does anyone have a good tutuorial (spelling?) of how to make a human head
with sPatch?

This is nice for a first real image. The colours are
great, but the focal blur seems to have been rotarted
(I know this sounds daft but I know what I mean).

Keep up the good work.
