I would humbly suggest that the color cheame is
not a problem with this pic.
Not being a chemist I would nonetheless pick a
more Paisley Park color scheme for this image.
You know, all light and fluffy.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

As an ex-biochemist I wondered why there is so much variation in color (many
different atoms) and so little variation in size between the different kinds
of atoms... But then: these viruses are weird!

Just the RNA strand? In the litterature, the AIDS virus is always shown
as a "fuzzy" ball.

I think this was meant as a quite colorful joke only... it doesn't really
looking anything at all like HIV...
Claire
Sorry to all i Offended But as a Homosexual i think the AIDS virus in
computer generated form looks beautiful and it was a tasteless joke i
agree... but i had to get your attention somehow.....and they are
looking in to a new drug (a protein to be exact to block the AIDS virus
from even attaching itself to the T-20 cells but at the moment it is
just in it's first stage of human testing)

A PDB of the RNA of the HIV/AIDS virus and what you have seen is the Electron
Microscope images of the Virus with it's shell... but this is just the RNA

I agree on the reflection and the radiosity but i am unable to do the steriogram
due to the fact i can't really see steriograms.... and the Color scheme is the
same as what the scientists would use (except for a few atoms which where didn't
have the colors attached when i got the PDB)

No real computer virus here just a computer generated biological virus
