Oh yeah.

Rendered for a 2x4 foot poster, 45 hour render using Mega POV. This is the
first pass with the Lens Flare thingy. Thanks for all the help from the
newsgroup on this.

You did perfectly :-)
The texturing on the asteroid could use some work; up close it is heavily
banded. (Unless, of course, you wanted that effect.)

Yes you are and I, for one one am extremely offended.
The wrath that will now be brought down upon you
will be greater than you could have ever possibly imaged.
You, your family and your ancestors are forever cursed.

No, fake. I B TEASE.

It was not, in fact, HTML, that you posted in.
And your picture looks great.
I do see a number of technical problems
as well as one glaring 'artistic' one,
but these are meaningless compaired to
the Cooliosity of the entire image.

Keep up the good work.

Very good! Only comment would be that the ship is rather hard to spot;
the colour of the ship and the asteroid is almost the same.

I agree. I have already changed it to more of a "Romulan Green". I am also
adding more detail to the ship, because it is made largely of spheres, and the
"bozo" based landscape matches it pretty closely.

Really, we may have to restrict people from flying those ships to this asteroid,
just for aesthetic reasons!

I have decided that my ultimate goal for this scene is to have the ship landing
at some kind of a mining facility.
