Well, I borrowed a few specifics from an interior design mag, but most of it
came from my own head. My actual kitchen looks more like Lamp Shade, Part
II.

A few points about Acad from my experience with it -
1.) There is not much if anything you cannot do in Acad if you are skilled enough.
2.) Getting that skill level is a very long road - trust me on this one.
3.) Acad has excellent export capabilities and can do some things that would
be difficult to do in POV-Ray itself. See my Pov rendered Acad trumpet at
- http://jkuag.tripod.com/g_real.html
4.) It's price is prohibitive for casual use.
5.) Acad's 3D capabilities are not that great in versions 14 or below. Acad
2000 has improved it's 3D capabilities greatly but there is still a very
long learning curve if you have never used Acad before.
If you want the power of a professional 3D modelling package like
Acad but bulk at it's price I recommend you look at Rhino instead.
It is ideally suited to a 3D environment and has capabilities that
even Acad does not have. It's learning curve is also much shorter
and cost at least 1/3 as much as Acad does. If I didn't use Acad
in my business I probably wouldn't use it at all.
