I listened to all the advice I got, so I tried to make a better scene.  The
sky is based on Sky amd water control by Ed Kaiser (thanks, man!).  I
changed it a little bit and added a sun.  The rifles were still too dark, so
I moved the sun to behind the camera (I'll post it as rifles 3).  i realy
liked the look of the sky so I decided to post it anyway.

Thanks to all who critised (i hope I spelled that right) me.
Dont hesitate to do it again

to black, nothing in rl is ever 100% black, try using a very dim grey
instead, and a touch of phong to bring out the detail
