Yes and no. They are two separate objects that fit together. However,
I have added some noise to the container objects. It is this displacement
that isn't smooth between the objects.

Now that you tell me I remark this, too. Strange -- I don't know where this
comes from. I shouldn't happen. I'll have to have a look at this.
