Yes, I saw. I got.
The culling param look very interesting.
I will try it out tomorrow when I restart
my system.
Thanks,
Peter

*Your* fur is sensuously tactile.

I'm sorry. My image viewer apparently can't cope with my new true colour
display. It displayed the image much too bright. That's why I darkened it.
The attached version should be okay. It shows more or less Peter Warren's
object with a different kind of fur.

I have added some noise to the surface. Does is look better now?
Your critics are welcome, because I'm still working on this technique.

oh yes - thats a vast improvement , looks much better now !!!
why is there a seam betwwn the central cylinder and the top sphere - is it
beacuse there seperate objects and not merged into a csg?
it looks a little weird at the edges - like the hairs have blobs on the end
of them

Yes and no. They are two separate objects that fit together. However,
I have added some noise to the container objects. It is this displacement
that isn't smooth between the objects.

Now that you tell me I remark this, too. Strange -- I don't know where this
comes from. I shouldn't happen. I'll have to have a look at this.
