Okay, here is my first attemt at creating one of those 'supercoils'
with POV. I'm still not quite happy with it though....
So that's why I'm putting it in here... for some feedback !!
I know I can rely on you guys to gimme some comment. :)
So... hit me with it already !!

Hmmm, maybe 'fade_distance' in the glass part and more specular hilight plus
more brilliance in the metal parts. There doesn't seem to be any shadows or
caustics either, only reflection and refraction (lots of it I might add).

Normally I would comment on the lack of shading too, but I like the way it works
for this image. Gives it an artsy look. Reminds me of an old illustration.

I agree it has rather strange lighting, but I like it because it looks
painted and not CG. And as Ken said nice tiles :-)
I don't really know what I'd do with it next...
