As I was finishing off for the day yesterday an idea scuttled through my
mind. Today I tried to trace it, it didn't quite work (I'm sure my brain
think in more colours than really exist), but it evolved in to the attached.

The animation is being rendered, expect to see it in p.b.a sometime this
weekend.

Your source of imagination baffles me... For a wile i had your last friday
image in my desk top...(swirlycolor...)

Im sure your ( or any ones) mind can come up w/ more than is physically
possible.. it is said the only true sphere or round circle only exists in the
mind...

Bunch of colored lights?
I don't think it's that you can imagine more colors than you can see, it's that
converting that image in your mind to a scene that can reproduce it is extremely
difficult.

Both spheres have the same texture/normal. Very subtle granite pigment
(which under these lighting conditions you will not see) and a facets
normal. (It's a Megapov render).
