Which do you like better, this or the old one (considering the old one
was unfinished, imagine it with the rest of the trees and stuff)

I Tend To Agree The Other Image I Liked Better...

Mostly Cuz The Funky Eye Things Did Not Shed Shadows... The Shadows Don't Mesh
Well W/ The Other Tree Shadows... That Struck Me As The Most Appealing When I
First Saw The Other Image

Wasn't it David Fontaine who wrote:

In general, I prefer the daylight one. However, it makes it more obvious
that parts of the moon are darker than the sky, which is unrealistic. It
almost makes it look like a transparent bubble that's nearer than the
clouds.

Could have made it as a monster in Doom!
I think the darker image was better, although this one's got more
believable clouds.

I like the daylight one as well. Still think the eyes should have corneas.
It's just adding a slightly flattened glass sphere. In the daylight version
the moon looks like a transparent projection onto the sky. Maybe it could be
moved between the sky_sphere gradient and the cloud layer?

They do, they're just kind of small and hard to see.
