I forgot to write down render time and memory but it was fairly quick,
about 1m parse and 15m render I think.

Youch!  Seems to me that those eye things probably roll around until
encountering a spikey tree.

Umm, thanks, I guess...
What I really want is ideas to improve the pic, ie, better ground method, etc
BTW I guess it worked because the response I tried to get was "the man's gone
completely nuts"

I like it.
Check out the similar image I made in May of 1995. I called it VR 595.
The cornea on my eyes were bigger and more "glassy", but otherwise very
similar.
