bumper cars thanks again. For all who want to know: wmax is 10 in this pic.
Still looks a little too empty but rendertime increases dramatically the
more mirrors are used.

That looks excellent, espacially the light beams, but isn't the ball
to dark, i can't see any bright reflections on it.

well if there is no mirror reflecting a lightray exacly into your eye you
wont see any bright reflections
the mirorball finish is reflection .9 ambient+diffuse .1
real mirrorballs sometimes glitter due to reflections off the edges of the
mirrors. That would mean using superellipsoids instead of polygones for the
mirrors. Maybe i should give it a try.
