Nice one. I guess you peeled and scanned the label.
Some more work on the background would improve it.

Well i've still got work left to do on the bottle, and the image map problem
of course. . .but no, if you've seen an absolut bottle you'd know that the
logo is printed onto the bottle in a raised ink fashion, and cannot be
peeled. that's an imagemap done in Paint shop.

Hmm, I'd be tempted to try a bump_map, with an image_map atop it. I don't
know if that would solve the problem, but hey...

Well, I don't read .general, but if the problem is that the
text appears both inside and outside the bottle, I would
suggest using a wood pattern with a material_map (or is it
texture_map?) to get a clear pigment on the inside and your
image_map on the outside...

	Nice bottle though.

Due to this answer, i try to repost here my answer in .general:

Well... i found myself in your same condition (sPatch + label
image_mapping)
and my quick solution corresponded *exactly* to the one suggested by
Nathan
Kopp .

If you want to look to the image i made, here is the direct url:
        http://www2.altnews.com.au/povlab/povlabdir/demopic/desire.jpg

Feel free to ask me everything about the image, and of course any
criticism is
welcomed :)

Marco
