For those of you who don't know, the POV-Team has requested a new POV
Now! logo to replace the old one seen at their page. The main idea is to
make a visually appealing, atractive logo, with a 3 in it so it is
generic and they don't have to make a new logo each time (3.1, 3.2, 3.3,
etc.). Here is my attempt at a logo. Go to general and look for 'Quick
Request'. There are very nice logos already there, the best one so far,
IMHO, is Fabien Mosen's. I think mine is nice too, because it shows a
bit of what POV can do (sphere, cylinder, cone, box, torus, text). The
final image was composed in Photoshop. Enjoy.
(The big one is the original, at 478x170. The real thing is 90x32, but I
expanded that little guy to 92x34 to add a border.)
PS: Perhaps we should continue here, since this is the binaries group.
Better than general for this. And we should keep it all in one message
string. Agreed?

About time someone stepped away from the povray.general group to post
binaries. I mistakenly started posting there without realizing, and
since no one spoke up have continued. Even those animated gifs ought to
be in povray.binaries.animations instead really.
So maybe the line will start new again here. Btw, looks good!

The entity previously known as Anthony Bennett has been transformed into a new
entity known as TonyB.
The correct pronunciation of TonyB is as in 'toe', 'knee', and 'bee'. =)

Thanks! Do you think it should have a border, or not?

Why has Anthony changed his name to PonyG. Were you suffering some sort
of identity crisis ?

That's "TonyB". I am not experiencing an identity crisis. Since my name is Anthony
Bennett, I took the Tony and appended my last name's initial, thus creating TonyB.
Good enough explanation..."Uncle Ken"?

It's good enough for Uncle Ken if it's good enough for PonyG.

Would you please just call me Anthony? Forget I ever thought of making up a handle for
myself.
