An exercise in using media in new ways and the fine art of patience.
If media is not the slowest gosh darn feature ever implemented in
Pov-ray I for one do not know what is.

This image rendered with the following statistics:

   Time - 10 hrs.
   Size - 640x480
     AA - Off.
 Memory - 4,500,000

Number of object types in scene:

1025 - Media containing objects - Each used emission, scattering,
and absorption in the media statement.

625 - Chrome textured highly reflective spheres
625 - Chrome textured highly reflective height fields.

3 - Colored spotlights with an intensity setting of 3.

It's not a what. It just is.

It was nearly posted untitled but the name was added at the
last minute to avoid arousing the suspicion of the authorities.

Well done Ken

A non realistic - abstract image that speaks volumes!

A welcome relief from all those desktops:)

Well, it *is* strange to say the least. Reminds me of a swamp with cat
tails and tadpoles hatching out. Not only that the sticks also remind me
of that candy, don't know the name, that has sugar or something
sprinkled on it. Some sort of licorice maybe? Whatever....
Good to see someone is still trying to put media speckles to use anyhow.
Basically this thing looks very strange to me, oh, I said that already.
Another point about it is the lack of AA and how it seems to make no
difference that I can see. No, I'm not knocking it either.

I felt that you if anyone would understand it for what it is.
You honor me by confirming my prediction.
