I made the cool Stonehenge meta ball flubber pic down there some where in
this group (go see it if you havnt seen it! Look for my name Nicholas
DePetrillo or Stone henge and Flubber in the subject) anyway right now im
working on a wicked raytraced pic that should be useful for benchmarking
peoples computers...Cause its gonna take a wicked long time to render...The
whole scene will consist of like polished chrome in an outside setting and
sense its reflecting all of its surroundings it should be very very
interesting..also ill throw in some glass and water and other semi
transparent refractive objects to push your cpu to the limit...once its
rendered ill post it here (1280x1024 JPEG) Ill compress it as much as
possible for you 56k'ers. So look out for future posts from me. Nick
DePetrillo. And lets see how your cokputer does. Once i post the pic of the
test ill post the scene file here and in the scene newsgroup.....See ya
then!

I thought the "official" benchmarking scene was the SkyVase.pov..
Sorry, can't remember the link. I'll have to visit Uncle Ken's page...

Well, I'll think twice before doing a 2-day menchmark only to find out my
machine sucks and I need a better one ASAP...
