Chris Young once told me that they planned to include a generalised
"angle-of-incidence" feature, that will allow for variable reflection
or silk aspect.  Your patch seems to give that nice "silk" aspect, so
maybe you could call that "silk", huh ?...

Yeah, that's a nifty future feature there. 'incident' is what I'd think
sounds right. A 'pigment' and 'normal' coupled with 'finish' as well
somehow? What a group. I think it would be great.
