Last image I'll be posting for a while, just thought I might put some of
my images up. this one is an image of the kitchen in my house. When I
rendered it I forgot to put a high enough anti-aliasing level also some
of the image maps that make up to wall papering needs to be scaled a
bit, unfortunately I lost the original file so I can't change it:-(

Hmm, you've had a pretty high post-rate the latest time :-) Holidays?

That's sad.

The lighting makes this image good despite the "jaggies".
Sure can see a lack of photon mapping on that bottle. I suppose you
meant the wall paper image was lost. You could always make another
wallpaper.

You may think you have deluged this group with your images, wrong. Only
a drop in the ocean. I believe povray.general and povray.binaries.images
are about tied for number of postings, the two most popular groups. I
try not to post too much because of this, including replies, since it's
tough to keep up and I try to read/see all the messages. There are times
the newsgroups become nearly a chatroom.
Think it was Margus mentioning his thoughts on this, it does make sense
to upload images for suggestions or in place of web page uploads due to
lack of such a "gallery", though not really much sense in duplicating
what already exists (I did this recently with the pov 2.2 sword though,
tsk-tsk) or for frivolity (ah, I think this might happen sometimes too).
But this is also the correct group for examples, or question-oriented,
images which do not belong in any other newsgroup since this is the only
one intended for still images of any kind.
The only laws really are those governed by the server administrator(s)
obviously and it's not easy to break them I think. It's the occasional
(indeed rare) flaming to watch out for ;)

Well, I have to add the warning for the occasional .BMP or .TGA wich tend to
kill my downloads.

Nice image though blocky, is that a table in the
middle or a wheely bin, if it's a wheely bin it
needs hinges and handles on the lid.

I went on the net this morning for the first time
in three days, and over 200 entries came down from
this group, I download on login and read and
compose replies off line (there goes my excuse for
bad spelling).
So I've been reading brand new messages, images
and answers for about 5 hours now. I'm also
trying to work my way through a backlog from
before when I started reading the group. Only 965
unread messages to get through. I don't reply to
the back log stuff, just recent posts.

That's because I didn't set the antialiasing high enough.
