Looks good, but you should have used AA. Nice gold-texture.

Yep, I was going to say use that +A or Antialias=On option or you'll
drive everyone crazy with those "jaggies".
Great going for your first scene. Almost ashamed to admit, mine was a
totally vacant black void. Just kidding, it was a clear gelatin torus
with blue agate sphere in the center (still kind of hate to admit that).

Mine was the blob hand from an example, made of glass from an example,
coming out of an ocean from an example. I had no idea how anything
worked, I just pasted it all together. And it looked really cool!

I saved it with a printscreen :)

You funny people. Mine was a red sphere on a white plane. One
pointlight, no phong or anything. Resolution: 80x50. Rendering time:
fifteen minutes. Display: 16 colours.

  Atari 520 STE (2 Mo RAM), DKB-Trace 2.12.

Ok, ok... it wasn't really my first. My first was also with DKB-Trace, about
50x50 red shiny (but non-reflective) torus on a checkerboard plane... still
looks good, really... I love torii

This reminded me of one of those musical bits out of a toy, where there
is a drum with spots on it and a row of pins that all play a different
note.

This has given me an idea for another image.

Thanks

Suggestion: Do AA.

Steve
