There was a thread awhile back asking about a library of electronics
components to render in POV. I know there is Erend, but is there
anything else? I was just wondering if anyone started a project like
this.

Erend is at http://hem.passagen.se/warp/

Real good link there. Only thing I ever did was to put together a little
scene with some transistors, etc. nothing fancy at all. That site there
is best I've ever seen concerning POV-Ray rendering and electronic
circuits.

I only vaugly remember reading something about that when I first
joined the groups here. That was almost 9 mo. ago and I have heard
nothing since on the topic. Working in electronics myself I have been
searching for any reated Pov works but haven't run across any. I'm
glad you provided this link because it the first of it's kind that
I have seen. I personaly have several electronics symbols libraries
but the cad software I use for circuit design does not export them
in a format suitable for easy conversion to Pov objects. I tried once
and failed miserably.
