Here is the first pass at my elvin village atop a very large tree.
Using a scale of 1 pov unit = 1 meter, this tree is over 150 meters
tall. The structures are 6 meters in diameter.

Comments?

As in Elvin Jones? [This wisecrack was a free service of the
Internet Spelling Police.]

Really looks good. I thought for a bit about the shiny roofs
(rooves?) and decided I liked them anyway, although a green
roof tile would keep the castle from being spotted from the air.

On the very bottom of the picture, a little right of center,
the branches seem to be repetitive and not very branch-like.

Oh yeah. Ellufs. It needs at least one elluf. In fact if you
could have a branch coming out *really* close to the camera with
an elf sitting on it....

And the far shoreline could use a jetty coming toward the camera
so there isn't quite so much question about whether that's a
lake in the background. It looks too straight. Maybe some
mist off in the distance? Right now the cliffs seem to be as
clear as the castle.

This is a dynamite project. Hope you keep us posted.

hmmm... the trees look a little like stone... but the mountains in the
background look incrediblel.... how did you get that texture on them?

I'd definatly say that tiling the rooves with something would improve the
image 200%.. Looks great beside's that!!
