I am making this logo for my group in Advanced Software Developement
class...This is obviously a complete rip off of the Sun Logo, but we
weren't very creative when coming up with a group name. Anyhow, I had a
few questions. The biggest is if you think it is better to have the
logo readable in the reflection, or if you like just having it obviously
reflecting. Also, should I kill the reflections? Any other comments
are of course appreciated, but this is not something I intend to spend
tons of time on.

I meant should I kill the shadows, not the reflections...

What kind of word is NOOW? ;-)
I think less wave action would be better (and killing the shadows would
make it more logo-like). Also, with all that reflecting going on, make
sure you use a version of POV that has the reflection bug fixed (does
anybody out there one?)

You miss all the talk about that?
Reflections in v.3.1 have leak-through to other side if a normal is
used.
I like the logo as is, the ripples make it appear large is all. And the
blue color reminds me of moonlight.
