This is my mandatory chess scene I made 4 years ago,
one of my first real scenes. It has never been shown
on the Internet. It contains the even more mandatory
reflective spheres, and a re-made lighting (my computer
at the time didn't really allowed me area lights).

Cheers,
Fabien.

I must say that I think this is one of the more interesting ideas in the
chess-set creation history. I like it.

This is truly great (okay, stop me before I go overboard).
A date with one of the queens, or both of them, would be especially
nice.
First character chess set I've seen I believe.

I don't really want to comment on the settings - a chess-set is not a very
original theme and there's supposed to be a background every time. The one thing
that I did want to say is that these are the best chess-pieces I've seen sofar.
Perhaps you could change some things in the size of the different pieces in
relation to each other. The pawns look very thin, the rooks perhaps a teensy bit
too small and the feet of the figures should give them a bit more support. Even
then, I like this set very much (matter of taste of course).

Truly a unique take on an overtroden field :) Inspiration that no theme
is truly dead ;) Well done!

oh.... wow.

I'm not sure what else I can say except "Where is the White King?"

otherwise... amazing.

Great chess set (especially the rooks)!!! My only complaint is that the
board position isn't realistic. It seems that the only moves black has made
are pawn moves.
