After reading the discussion on variable turbulence, I
decided to see what I coudl whip up. In this picture, the
radial pattern has zero turbulence and goes up to a turbulence
of 2.0 near the edges of the picture.

If you have a "turbulence_map" or something that could make a good fluid
dynamics system, with the laminar boundry and whatnot.
