Any you want *that* to have changed !?!??
Sorry for getting even more OT, but I got a nice chuckle the other day
from re-reading some old stuff. After resubscribing to i.stills and
loading the 500 most recent messages. I noticed that the 500th most
recent was my own. It was (or was near) an old exchange with Gilles in
the 'Surrealism' thread, proceding POVCOMP by many months, where we each
took identical positions to those we would later take when the POVCOMP
thing blew up. I've got to take (and give) credit for consistency. :)
Back on-topic. .....
Argggh! what a tired joke.

Well, that could make me very philosophical. Getting older isn't fun, but
I'm hopefully getting wiser as well (and lately, healthier, thanks to my
bike). :-)

Malevich's Red Square has become the "poster child" for art that I don't
understand. However, looking at some of his other work, I can see what an
accomplished artist he really was. But I still don't think I will ever
truly understand or appreciate most abstract and/or minimalist art. I might
enter the IRTC this round, but if so, my take on the topic will be a little
different, and it will reflect ideas that I've already been working on for
the last few months. No pressure to win this time. :-)
