I like this one. The way the pattern of the pieces seems anatomical.
The sense of implied effect.

This is too cool. The phrase "running with scissors" comes to mind
for some strange reason.

I've actually played around with that sort of thing before, making an
animation of a head slice.

It would be really cool if you had a skeleton model in the same pose that
was split up and put in the same spot as the poser model but with slightly
larger sections so the bones stuck out of the muscle a tad bit.

I tried that but it looked wrong - there's always a subtle difference
in pose between a Poser human and their coresponding skeleton.

Speaking of which, take the Poser 4 skeleton and move the arm up/down.
Do the same with the leg. Sick, huh.

Looks like this german anatomist/artists work i have seen before....
but i can't remember his name.... he takes real human cadavers and
"plasticize" them and then scrape all unwanted tissue from the
biological art sculpture.... Watch the movie Anatomy (US title) the
german title is the same but in german (DUH!) you will see TONS of that
guy's works.

Here's a website of interest:
http://www.plastination.com/
When his tour was in London, I wish I'd made the effort to have a
look.

Have you got a larger (something like 2048x768) version? This would make a
fabulous 2-monitor-size wallpaper...
