I'm kinda new to making "good" media effects, and after looking at the Media Sky
animation by Thies Heidecke, I was once again inspired to try
a media sky image. The only problem I'm having is what to do at the horizon. Since
I'm using a sphere within a sphere model, I can't just use
"fog" as an internal Povray effect. I figure I need to creat another sphere for the
fog effect. So, the trouble I'm running into is that,
seen from the "ground" sphere, I can't see through the "fog" sphere to see the "sky"
sphere. Pictures attached show what I'm talking about.
First image shows scene without "fog" sphere. Second is with.

Also, I can't see my "sun" sphere behind the "sky" sphere. I guess it's really all
the same question, but what am I missing? How can I make a
media sphere transparent in order to see through it?

Ahem, tell me if I'm wrong but did you use transmit 1 in your pigments?
