Work in progress. Cloth simulation for my next image.
I need to add dampening, detection of collision with itself, better values for
the elasticity. But it's sufficient for now and I will move on to other
technical difficulties of the image I'm thinking about.

Not bad at all. Reminds me of the work by Christophe Bouffartigue:

Thank you.
For sure this has already be done by others. But it's much more fun to do it all
by myself ! :-)
Clothray looks very good. I hope I can reach the same level.

Of course it is! I only have too much memory of things past. :-)

I am sure you can.

Very cool. And inspiring! (I need curtains in my haus window :) )
It does need dampening, but the rest of it looks fine.

Thank you :)
The lack of dampening is also emphasized by deliberately slowing down the clock
to be able to see the movement in detail.

I used to play with this problem 12 years ago. It reminds me a lot of my
experiments. Looks good!

Yes, and of course It can also be rendered with POV-Ray then.
